Despite Africa's growing economy, and an anticipated fall in African poverty rates, we estimate there will be 36 million more Africans will be living in poverty in 2015 - as population growth is set to outpace the poverty alleviation effects of a stronger African economy.
Without any economic growth, the situation would be even worse - a completely stagnant African economy would result in 83 million more Africans living in poverty by 2015.
